Movies that feel likeIn Time (2011)

In the not-too-distant future, the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest struggle to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man who suddenly comes into a fortune of time finds himself on the run from a corrupt police force known as the "time keepers".

If you loved In Time, the closest films we have are The Book of Eli (2010), Children of Men (2006) and They Live (1988). All three share In Time's kinetic and tense feel, which is what we rank on before quality.

Seen the big three already? The under-the-radar pick below is District B13 (2004).

Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy – a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit – is critically injured, OmniCorp sees their chance to build a part-man, part-robot police officer.
